A Few Updates!

Just wanted to bring you all up to speed with a few decisions that we have made recently.

First, we want to introduce you all to the newest member of the wedding party, our good friend Jennifer Taylor. Jennifer and Lauren met last summer and have since become very close. She lives in the area (about 30 mins away from us since her big move), but we are looking forward to taking full advantage of her being in the area, especially in the coming months (you will see why below!)!! Hope that's what you signed up for, Jennifer!

Also on the wedding front, we have decided to move the wedding from Clarksville to the Northern VA area! There were a lot of reasons for the move, but mostly we both thought that this area defined us more as a couple and as individuals. That being the case, we are pretty much back at square one for planning. We have been visiting venues for the last few weeks, and have some really good ideas. We are also playing with the date and time a bit (we are looking more at moving the time to Friday evening), but we are going to stick with the weekend of the 17th. As soon as we know venue details we post all the details!

In other news, I made some updates/additions to the site. I added pictures from the Inauguration to the Our Photos. I added a Registry page for information about the wedding registry (right now there is one, check back there may be more). Also, we updated the Wedding Party page.

Finally, since we are so sporadic about updating, we have set up our blog to go out as an email to friends and family when we post them. Please let either of us know if you would like to be added/removed from this list.
